The castle is on a strategic hill point overlooking the town of Saranda, southeast of the town center. From here one can have a view of the whole town as well as the islands of Ksamil and Corfu in Greece.Duration: 30 minutes

Blue Eye Spring

It is a water spring with clear blue water of the river bubbles forth from a stunning, more than fifty-meter-deep pool. Divers have descended to fifty meters, but it is still unclear what the actual depth of the karst hole is.The immediate area (180 ha) is a nature reserve and is characterized by oak and sycamore trees.Duration: 40 minutes

Butrint National Park
